I think my favorite Blues idol is Duane Allman since his soloing style and musical talent were so awesome. Just listen to Whipping Post.

i think my favorite Blues idol would have to bonnie Raitt because she is one of the only woman who play the blues. i love her uniqe style of bottleneck. for a woman who can play the guitar and be an amazing singer makes me feel like i can do anything. her style of playing the blues guitar is just amazing and so different.

My favorite Blues singer would probably be John Lee Hooker. His song, "Boom Boom," is an interesting song since it has the singing and instrumental parts alternating with each other. This is in my opinion a unique style compared to other Blues songs.

I think my favorite Blues Idol is Bonnie Raitt because she is one of the only few female blues guitarist. Also she used alternate tuning and the bottleneck style guitar playing.

I think my favorite Blues Idol would be Duane Allman. I like the song of his "Whipping Post". He has great solo styles and musical talent. His song also has a nice tune and tempo. This song is very unique because it has a great meaning to it.

I would have to say that my blues idol would have to be Duane Allman, though i do enjoy the more modern blues style of Robert Cray. "Whipping Post" is blues genius, similar to what q4p5#13 wrote: the song has a perfect tune and tempo. While Cray is a nice blues twist, Allman is the traditional blues leader that you got to love!

I think my favorite Blues idol is Bonnie Raitt because she has a unique way of playing the guitar which is unlike other guitarists. She also was the only musician that we learned about that was a girl which I found interesting and I thought it was good that she took the initiative to try to use her talent, even if there weren't many woman musicians. I think that her playing sounds very different, but very good too.

My favorite Blues musician we learned about is Bonnie Raitt, because I admire how she became so famous in the Blues industry, one so heavily dominated by men, also in my opinion she has an awesome singing voice that truly enhances the experience of the blues song.

it'S hard to pick a blues musician and who's favorite it is. I would pick Stevie Ray Vaughn beacause he has intrest in electric Blues. I like electric Blues than Blues itself. my cousin is a jazz musician

My Blues Idol is Bonnie Raitt. She is one of the only woman Blues Gutarists. She had a unique way of playing the blues with the bottleneck which shows not only that she is a great musician but she knows her instrument and is smart with how she plays it. I also thought that the harmonica was a very cool touch because not many of the musicians we studied used that tecnique.

My favorite blues musician was definitely Bonnie Raitt, because we hadn't heard that much about women musicians and it was sort of refreshing. It reminded me of Charlie Christensen, how he sort of broke the barrier between white and black musicians. The whole social aspect of music was interesting. It was really cool the way she tuned her guitar, and the way she slid her fingers up and down the frets had a nice effect. The piece sounded put together more and more swingy with it.

i would have to say that John Lee Hooker is my Blues idol. as soon as i heard that song "boom Boom" i was like wow. that is some reallly amazing guitar right there.

i also like john lee hooker when they stop playing the guitar and it is just the singing i thought that was a really cool idea, and the fact the rythm guitar was really different than anyother blues song that i'd ever heard.
